Where do I select which designs I want that I pledged for from the Kickstarter Add-Ons?
Kickstarter Add-Ons are already in your survey. You will make selections through the Add-Ons questions. Please note Kickstarter Add-Ons will only list designs from the Kickstarter.
If you’d like to purchase additional pins or products, you can do so in the BackerKit Add-Ons store where both Kickstarter designs and FlairFighter.com products will be available.

What is Kickstarter?
Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform which lets creators share their projects and helps bring their creations to life with the support of backers and community. Backers come together to fund the projects in exchange for rewards. Backers will only be charged if the campaign is successful and the initial funding goal is met.

I pledged for items in the Kickstarter Add-Ons. But when I use the BackerKit Add-On feature, it adds on separately and charges me again on top of what I already pledged for through Kickstarter. What do I do?
To access the Kickstarter Add-On survey questions. On 2. Add-Ons, click on the NEXT button and you’ll see the Kickstarter Add-On questions to pick which Add-On designs you want. The Add-On questionnaire shows up after the Add-On shop. You can always go back to the Add-On shop after answering your Kickstarter Add-On questions.

How long will the BackerKit survey be available for?
The BackerKit survey will be available for 2 weeks. Survey deadline is October 1, 2021. If you still haven’t completed your survey after the deadline. Please still complete it as soon as possible so I know which designs you want. While I can’t guarantee the designs you want after the survey deadline. I will make every effort to get the designs you want to you as long as stock for the design is available.

Yes. I have credited your account so that your full pledge from the $1 and $2 tier are available to use as a credit amount to purchase any items you may like from our BackerKit Add-On store.

Can I pay with Paypal?
Kickstarter doesn’t accept Paypal as a payment method. However please pledge in the CA$ 2 Thank you tier or in another pledge tier and message me. I will invoice you via Paypal and will manually add that amount to your BackerKit profile so you can pick out all the rewards you want in the BackerKit survey.

How do I choose which pin/keychain/sticker(s) I want?
After the campaign ends, I will send you a survey via BackerKit where you can pick the specific designs that you want. I will also collect your address and the shipping amount.

Can I still change my address? Can you hold my package if I am out of town for vacation?
You can always change your address anytime from now until we are ready to ship out your items. You’ll receive a 48-hour notice before we ship so you can make any last minute changes to your address. You can also let me know to hold your package if you may be away on vacation or if any shipping restrictions to your country may arise. Please contact me at [email protected]

When do I get charged for shipping?
After the campaign ends, I will send you a survey via BackerKit. You will finalize all the items you want, I will collect your address. The shipping charge will be calculated based on your country and weight of all the items you have pledged for.

Why d you charge for shipping after the campaign?
Because of the large number of designs and variation in size of pledges, the most accurate way to charge for shipping is after the campaign is over. Shipping will be calculated based on your country and the weight of all the items in your pledge. Because we can do weight-based shipping in BackerKit, your shipping will be more accurate and will cost less.
(Additional technical info: In Kickstarter, there is no weight-based shipping system. The way shipping is calculated for Add-On items in Kickstarter is in whole dollar amounts. We can’t set Add On shipping to only $0.20 per Add-On for shipping.) For example, if we set up the minimum shipping charge for Add-Ons. If you Add-On a pin or sticker in Kickstarter, it would charge you $1 per Add-On. Alternatively, if we set the Add-On shipping to $0, it could cause us to go into the negative if a backer were to add many Add-Ons to their pledge. Using BackerKit to calculate shipping in the end is the best way to go to ensure shipping fees are accurate and tailored specifically to what you pledge!)

I'm from the UK. Can I still back your Kickstarter and get rewards?
Due to the UK VAT tax system, I can’t ship you your rewards if you pledge through Kickstarter. As a workaround, I will invoice and ship to you via Etsy after the campaign is over.
Instructions to lock in Kickstarter rewards:
1) Pledge to the CA$ 2 “Thank you! / UK Backer Tier” to lock in your special Kickstarter backer reward pricing. 2) Please fill out this Google Form: https://flairfighter.com//UK-Kickstarter-Backer 3) Once the Kickstarter has concluded I will contact you via e-mail to confirm your information and ask for which designs you want so we can order enough rewards. 4) Once I have received the rewards, I will invoice you via Etsy and will ship out your rewards.

I pledged for the Early Bird / Super Early Bird tiers. How do I add more pins at a discounted price?
You can get multiple pins at your early bird price by adding CA$ 14 / 15 as “bonus support” for every additional pin you want. For example if you pledged for Early Bird and want to add 2 more pins. Please add $30 as “bonus support”. (2 X $15 = $30). To calculate how much to increase your pledge by. Multiply the number of additional pins by $15. (For Super Early Birds, use $14 as the per unit price.) This will be the amount you enter in the “bonus support” section. At the end of the campaign I’ll send out a survey so you can pick out the exact pins you want. You can increase (or decrease) your pledge at any time during the campaign. As long as your stay pledged to the Early Bird or Super Early Bird tier, you’ll lock in the early bird $15 / super early bird $14 per pin price. Note: If you un-pledge (cancel) from the Early Bird or Super Early Bird tier, you will lose this special Early Bird price and cannot get it back.

I love alot of the pins but I don't know if I can pledge for them all right now. Can I get more later on?
Yes, pledge for as many you can now. You can always increase (or decrease or cancel) your pledge at any time before the campaign ends.
You’ll only be charged for your pledge when the campaign ends on Tue, May 10 2022 11:59 PM EDT / 8:59 PM PST. You can make any changes to your pledge amount and which pledge tier you choose until the campaign ends.
We will also offer pre-orders via BackerKit after the campaign where you can add more items to your order. However, the BONUS freebies that are offered on Kickstarter are not offered for the pre-orders on BackerKit.
Note: If you pledge for an Early Bird or Super Early Bird tier. If you un-pledge or cancel from the Early Bird or Super Early Bird pledge, there is no way to get it back.

Can I pick my choice of 'enamel Pins and Keychain designs if I pledge for only the Enamel Pin rewards? Or would I need to add Keychains a la carte in the Kickstarter Add-Ons?
If you pledge for the Enamel Pin reward tiers, you can only pick from your choice of Enamel Pin designs in the BackerKit survey. You won’t be able to pick from both Enamel Pins and Keychains.
If you’d like some Keychains, please add those a la carte in the Kickstarter Add-Ons during the Kickstarter campaign.
We will make sure you will get the freebie rewards based on the total amount of pins and keychains you pledge for during the Kickstarter campaign.
For example, you get a FREE random vinyl sticker for a pledge of 5 enamel pins or keychains. So if you pledge for 3 Enamel Pins and add 2 Keychains as a Kickstarter Add-On. You will get a FREE random vinyl sticker.

Can I order or add on items through BackerKit after the campaign?
Yes! There will be an approx. 2 week period where those who missed the Kickstarter or want to pay via Paypal can do so via BackerKit. All the prices will be same as non-early bird Kickstarter prices. However, freebie bonuses that were included in the Kickstarter (FREE random vinyl stickers, FREE mini pin sets, FREE deluxe locking pin backs) are only available on Kickstarter. They are not available in the BackerKit pre-orders.

What if I change addresses or move after the campaign is over?
You can edit your address through BackerKit at any time until I have rewards in hand and am ready to ship out. I will send out reminders before locking shipping addresses closer to the ship date.

Yes! I’ll make the other designs and products I have available on flairfighter.com be available in the BackerKit Add-On shop. This way you can save on shipping altogether.
If there are any of our previous designs that you want to Add-On. Please wait till the BackerKit Add-Ons store opens to Add-On these items.
If you choose to add any Add-Ons during this Kickstarter campaign. The choices of designs will be limited to the designs we are funding from the Cats in Japan collection. Previous existing shop designs will not be included in the survey.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
