Hi friends,
Happy weekend! Today's update is to let you know that all completed BackerKit surveys have now been locked and cards charged through BackerKit for the shipping (and any BackerKit Add-Ons you may have added, if applicable). The charge is in Canadian dollars. Our business name on your statement may show as "FLAIR FIGHTER" or "FLAIRFIGHTER.com".
If your BackerKit charge declined, please update your card as soon as possible or let your bank know to approve the charge. Thank you!
There's still 10% of you who haven't filled in your surveys yet. Please fill them in as soon as possible. This way I'll know which designs you want. You can request your BackerKit Survey here if you cannot find your survey link: https://catsinjapan.backerkit.com/

FAQ: Changing Address
Can I still change my address? Can you hold my package if I am out of town for vacation?
You can always change your address anytime from now until we are ready to ship out your items. You'll receive a 48-hour notice before we ship so you can make any last minute changes to your address. You can also let me know to hold your package if you may be away on vacation or if any shipping restrictions to your country may arise.
Lastly, I've put in the order with my manufacturers for the mass production! Molds are already completed. We are on track with our production timeline. :) If anything changes, I will update here so you are the first to know.

A super quick reminder to complete your BackerKit surveys!
So far 83% of you have completed your surveys. Thank you so much!
A reminder you MUST fill out your surveys on time as I'll be placing my order with the manufacturer. If you don't fill out your surveys in time, I cannot guarantee the design(s) you choose will be available.
I noticed some of you have partially filled out your surveys but not completed them. Please complete your shipping info, payment info (for the shipping and any Add-Ons if applicable) and confirm your survey to complete it.
☆ UK Backers - Please fill out your BackerKit Survey! ☆
UK Backers, good news! Our tests with shipping orders to the UK outside of Etsy have been successful. So please fill out your survey via BackerKit. If all goes smoothly, you will be able to pledge to our future Kickstarter projects without having to go through the extra steps of filling out a Google Form, email, and Etsy, etc. Please note that because we are not collecting the UK VAT the responsibility for any customs fees will be yours.

🌸 BackerKit Surveys are out! Survey Deadline is June 15th! 🌸

Hi friends,
Thank you so much for your patience! I've sent out the BackerKit Surveys! Please check your email related to your Kickstarter account for the email with the link to the survey. If you do not see your survey yet, please allow a few hour for the surveys to be sent out and check your Spam box.
During the survey, you'll have the opportunity to Add-On any items that were from the main Kickstarter campaign. Items from our FlairFighter.com shop are also available in the BackerKit Add-On shop at a special discounted price just for you!
The survey will be open for 2 weeks. Survey will close on June 15, 11:59 pm PST.
After you submit your survey you can always go back and edit your survey choices before your response is locked in on June 15th. Once the surveys close, we'll lock your survey choices and charge your cards. No order changes can be made after that.
The sooner you get your surveys in, the sooner we can place our order with our factory and start production! Thank you so much! :-)
Note: Please double check that any complimentary items you qualify for from the Kickstarter campaign have been correctly added to your profile! ie. free vinyl sticker for every 5 pin/keychains. (If it is missed and you do not let us know before we ship out your rewards you may be responsible for any additional shipping costs or may combine with another future order for us to send you those items.)

Shipping & Address
I'll be collecting the shipping via BackerKit as I did not charge for shipping during the Kickstarter campaign. You will be able to change your shipping address all the way up until I've received the products in hand and am ready to ship them out. I'll send you another update 48 hours ahead of time to notify you before I lock addresses for shipping.
Canada Backers
To our Canadian backers, in BackerKit, we'll be collecting the appropriate sales tax (GST & HST) for your Kickstarter pledge and shipping amount. We have to collect sales tax as we're a registered Canadian business. Thank you so much for your understanding.
UK Backers
I will email you separately to get your choice of which pins, keychains, and stickers you'd like. You'll also have the opportunity to add to your order any items from our main flairfighter.com shop at the same special BackerKit Add-On discount prices we're offering to all backers. You won't be receiving a BackerKit survey as I'll be handling your survey by email and payment by invoicing via Etsy. No surveys were sent for the $2 Thank you! / UK Backer Tier.
A few of you UK Backers slipped by and pledged on our campaign instead of doing the $2 Thank You! / UK Backer Tier pledge + Google Form entry. But not to worry. I will email you about your selection and invoice you for the shipping and any Add-Ons which we will handle via Etsy for the remainder payment. We're doing it this way as I want to make sure you will receive your shipment safely, and minimize issues with UK customs. Etsy is the main way we can invoice you and have VAT collected and remitted so your shipment will arrive to you smoothly.

🌸 BackerKit Surveys will start sending on May 31 🌸

Hi friends,
Just wanted to give you a quick update that the BackerKit Surveys for the Cats in Japan campaign will start sending on Tuesday, May 31st.
The BackerKit staff has informed me that because they are already out of the office for the Holiday weekend, they will not switch our survey to live yet. The BackerKit staff will set our survey live once they're back in office on Tuesday.
I will post another update here once the BackerKit Surveys start going out so you can keep an eye out for them in your email inbox! In the BackerKit Survey, you'll be able to pick which specific designs you want for your backer rewards. You'll also get access to our special BackerKit Add-Ons shop featuring our existing designs at a small discount and combine on shipping to save along with your Kickstarter rewards!
