WOW! WE DID IT!! We've reached the end of the campaign. Thank you to all 460 backers! We're 7,355% funded!! You're all amazing! Every single one of you! It is because of you, our campaign was such a huge success. We couldn't have done this without your support! We're so humbled and grateful for the love you have shown our second kitty pin project. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts! ♥


What's next?

Over the next 7 days Kickstarter will charge your card. If your card was declined, Kickstarter gives you 7 days to fix your payment before your pledge is dropped from the campaign. Common issues for card declines can be insufficient balance, or your card was declined by your bank. If this happens, please give your bank a call. If you still continue to run into any issues with your card, please contact me. I'll see what I can do to help.


How do I choose my Pins / Items / Add-Ons?

BackerKit surveys will be sent out to everyone in approximately two weeks. We will be using BackerKit to send out surveys and collect your shipping addresses. In the survey, you'll pick out which specific pins/items you want. The surveys will be sent to your e-mail connected to your Kickstarter account.

In another update,I will post detailed instructions how to use BackerKit.

For anyone who missed out on the campaign. I'll have a pre-order store available through BackerKit, open for two weeks. This store will go live at the same time as the backer surveys go out. Prices in the BackerKit pre-order store will be the same as the Kickstarter (non-early bird) prices, but freebies will not offered as they were a Kickstarter exclusive.


Can I still add more Pins / Items to my pledge?

Yes, in BackerKit you'll be able to add more pins and items from this Kickstarter to your pledge. It will be available at the same price as the Kickstarter. For Early Birds, pins will be available at the Early Bird price in BackerKit. The period of time to add more items that you want in BackerKit will be 2 weeks.


Will existing designs from your FlairFighter.com shop be available in BackerKit? 

Yes, we will make our existing designs from our website available with a small discount to backers in our BackerKit shop. This way you can pick up existing designs we have and also combine shipping with your Kickstarter pledge to save altogether.


Timeline

  •  May - Campaign ends + Rewards Survey sent out
  •  June - July - Production
  •  Late July - Pins finished + start arriving + pin/keychain grading
  •  August - Packages start shipping

Here's a quick reminder of the estimated timeline for the campaign. If anything happens that could cause a delay to the timeline, I will update you as soon as possible.

For now, we have completed checking proofs for 90% of the Cats in Japan designs. During the period of Kickstarter collecting funds and the BackerKit survey, we'll complete the proofing process. Our manufacturer will then be on standby to start making the pins. This means as soon as we get your survey responses back, we will start the pin production!

🌸 NEW Stretch Goal Design Reveal 🌸

Hi friends! Thank you so much for your support!

We're back from a weekend at Calgary Expo & Kawaii Kon and we're excited to reveal a new stretch goal design!

Inspired by the deer at Nara Park. You can feed the deer in Nara Park with special deer crackers you can purchase at the park. These deer are super cute and also super intelligent! They'll bow their heads to you to ask you to feed them crackers. They also know how to wait at traffic lights along with humans to cross the street. It was a super memorable experience when we visited Nara Deer Park many years ago and we wanted to capture it in this new design.

Deerly Fawn'd of You unlocks at CA$ 25,000.

We've also began proofing the Cats in Japan designs with our pin manufacturer. This way we can begin making the molds for the unlocked designs during the campaign, and the production process will go along even faster once the campaign ends!

Thank you so much for the amazing turnout for day 1 of our Cats in Japan Kickstarter project! We've unlocked all 20 designs and stretch goals in under 24 hours! We're overjoyed by the positive reactions, comments, and excitement for our kitty pin project!


Over the coming days, we'll add more stretch goal designs to the project! Do keep an eye out.
